The Latest from America’s Rectum

Secession: formal withdrawal from an organization.

Arizona’s unofficial Governor Russell Pearce has introduced a new bill, Senate Bill 1433, if passed and signed into law, would give members of the state Legislature the power to override federal laws and executive orders...
It would allow a committee of 12 people — six from the House and six from the Senate — to recommend to the full Legislature which laws they think are unconstitutional.
Both new and existing federal laws would be up for debate.

Once again, by the numbers:
Arizona unemployment:  9.3%
Arizona deficit: $2.1Billion
Arizonans below the poverty line: 1.4million (21%)
Arizona healthcare for children rank: 49/51
Arizona violent crime rankings: 6th worse/51

Clearly it’s the Federal Government’s fault.

And it gets worse.  Just like when you were a kid and your mom would say to others “Don’t laugh at his jokes, you’ll only encourage him.” (heard that one often)…there are now 15 states with pending legislation that would mimic Arizona’s anti-immigration bill: California, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Indiana, Kentucky, Maine, Maryland, Mississippi, Nebraska, Oregon, South Carolina, Texas, Utah, and Virginia.

Oy vey.
