Doc Holiday would call Arizona crazy.

I think Bill Clinton looks to George H.W. Bush as the father he never had, while conversely H.W. looks at Clinton as the son he wished he had. (That one comes from Mrs. Diggapedia)
Jesse James to pen memoir…who cares.
The Inconvenient Truth about healthcare.  Professor Katherine Baicker, Professor of Health Economics at Harvard: “There is no painless way to contain rising healthcare spending.  Limits on what treatments are covered by public programs or private insurance; payment reform so hospitals and doctors are not necessarily paid more for carrying out more procedures; and, in some cases, more copayments by patients may all be needed.”  Tough love, but we are headed towards rationing because we can’t afford the current trajectory.  Anybody know what an MRI costs?  Nope, because it’s covered by insurance.  That folks is the problem.
An update to the February 14th posting about the conviction of Arizona Minuteman leader Shawna Forde: the Pima County Attorney's Office said Tuesday the Tucson jury returned the death penalty verdict.  She now becomes the third woman on Arizona's death row.  Forde was convicted of first-degree murder and other charges in the May 2009 home invasion.  The victims were twenty-nine-year-old Raul Flores and his 9-year-old daughter, Brisenia.  Death penalty is too good for this heinous monster.
Still in Arizona.  A Phoenix jury convicted Iraqi immigrant Faleh Hassan Almaleki  of second-degree murder Tuesday for running over and killing his daughter in a case termed an "honor killing",  Almaleki  carried out the attack because he believed his daughter had become too Westernized.   Fundamentalists secular or religious are all too dangerous and need to be contained.
Indiana pulls a Wisconsin: more Big Ten anti-union Dems on the Run antics.  This time the Republican Governor shows leadership, and dare I say it; looks Presidential?  Indiana Governor Mitch Daniels, a potential 2012 GOP Presidential candidate, did not send the state police to locate the missing Indiana Democratic Caucus and he also asked the Republican-controlled legislature to set aside any motions to strip the public unions of their collective bargaining powers.  Thumbs up Mr. Governor, perhaps your fellow Big Ten Governors Kasich and Walker will get the message.
Bad omen for Obama and the Democrats in 2012 as the number of registered Democrats has fallen and now states that were Democratic locks are now leans or toss-ups.  But before the Republicans start popping their champagne corks, they need to keep in mind that those Democrats, like yours truly, who switched to Independent will gladly pull the lever for Mr. Obama if the GOP nominates an Uber Conservative.
