Virgins, Gaddafis, Republicans, rehab, and happy meals.

Beyonce, Jay-Z, and Mariah Carey between 2008 and 2009 received millions of dollars from the Family Gaddafi to appear in concerts on the island of St. Barts.  Let’s see African American pop stars performing in the Caribbean for the son of a North African Muslim dictator and known sponsor of terrorism.  Therefore, Beyonce, Jay-Z, and Mariah Carey are enemy combatants and should be performing their next shows at Guantanamo Bay.   That was why Beck-like dot connection.  How did I do?  Seriously, these stars should be worried, just ask Naomi Campbell.  Campbell was subpoenaed by the World Court in The Hague for accepting diamonds from Liberian dictator and mass murderer Charles Taylor after Taylor was charged with crimes against humanity, the same charge the Hague is considering against Gaddafi and his sons.
I am really looking forward to the race to the bottom by the Republican 2012 Presidential candidates as they pander to the ultra conservatives and embrace the birthers, homophobes, and bigots to garner the party’s nomination.  Watching Gingrich and Huckabee do their fractions to determine the lowest common denominator is pure magic.  Denying your President’s legitimacy is for Beck and Limbaugh, not for legitimate presidential candidates. 
The zero sum gamers on the right still are still stuck in their false dichotomies.  For instance they believe you cannot be for US Armed Forces and against the war in Iraq, you can be for teachers, but against bad teachers union policies, you can be for hunting terrorists, and for the 1st Amendment, you can be for border security and you can be for immigration reform, and above all you can be for pro-choice and not be pro-abortion.  It’s that simple and that complex
John Galliano was let go by Christian Dior for some very anti-Semitic comments recently.  And now it is rumored that he will be coming to Arizona for rehab at the world famous The Meadows in Wickenburg, AZ.  So why do people go to rehab after spewing bigoted hateful words?  Gibson, Washington, and Galliano are bigots when they are drunk, they are bigots all of the time.  And if you want to cure bigotry, Arizona is about the last place you want to send someone to be cured. 
Ronald McDonald is having is hours reduced by the McDonalds.   While the iconic symbol of the fast food franchise is not being downsized, he is worried that he could soon end up like his former fellow union members the Hamburglar, Grimace, and Mayor McCheese.  The Burger King and Jack in the Box could not be reached for comment.
Virginity is making a comeback.  Researchers found that between 2006 and 2008, the percentage of 15- to 24-year-old men who had never had any form of sexual contact with another person increased from 22% to 27% while the percentage of 15- to 24-year-old females who had never had any sex whatsoever increased from 22% to 29% .  These comparisons were based on changes from 2002 to 2008.  Theories regarding abstinence and respondent honesty have been offered.  I am going with World of Warcraft and how it’s keeping young men locked up in their rooms drinking mountain dew and eating Pringles and forgetting there is something called girls.

Sunni and Shia: So who are the bad guys again?

Baby faces vs. heals?   Cowboys vs Indians?   Good guy always where the white hat.   “Dig is he a good guy or bad guy?”   Bad guys always, looked, well, bad. You’re either with us or you’re against us.   Iraq, Iran, and North Korea are the axis of evil.
