Give Me Liberty And Not This Crap

Sen. Dianne Feinstein (D-Calif.), who chairs the Senate Intelligence Committee, offered an amendment to curb the measure by specifying that it applied to suspects captured "abroad."   She was shot down when 10 Democrats voted to make it legal for the U.S. government to detain anyone, including U.S. citizens, indefinitely on suspicion of being a terrorist.  Senator Feinstein will try again tonight with another amendment excluding U.S. citizens.
